Mazu Yachts Sell First Mazu 82

Mazu Yachts announced that it has sold their first Mazu 82 model. The vessel which has been sold to a Turkish client is the largest that the yard is currently building. They offer builds in 38, 42, 52 and now 82-foot LOA. The interior design is via well-noted Turkish designer Tanju Özelgin while the exterior is by Halit Yukay.

The Mazu 82 will be built of a carbon composite in a lightweight sandwich construction providing the rigidity and strength needed to create the necessary deck space and interior volume with large hull-side windows while allowing for the expected performance. Power is by triple Volvo Penta IPS 1350s (3 X 1,000 horse power) which should see this vessel attain a top-end of 40-knots. 4,500 LT of fuel is available onboard to run the Mazu 82.

Expected to come in at a 50 tonne displacement, the yacht's principle dimensions are 24.50-meters LOA, 5,90-meters BOA and 1.60-meters of draft. A private master head will have a roomy shower and fine fixtures, while a walk-in closet opposite will stow all the owners’ wardrobe easily for extend times aboard. Two additional staterooms, including an en suite VIP forward and a double stateroom off the passageway will round out the guest accommodations. Mazu Yachts say the Mazu 82 will be completed for the end of Summer 2019.
