I've recently gotten a wild hair to add grid lighting to my 3 car garage ceiling. The initial shopping/research has produced pricing from under $100 per bay to over $700. User feedback as to quality and longevity varies wildly. I'd like it to be dimmable and somewhat adjustable as to color temp AKA Kelvin rating. Does any YF member have user experience? Thanks in advance.

I thought grid lighting was used by commercial detailers to help find imperfections? It's an interesting effect for sure, but I'm not sure it compliments a car. Here's an AMG GT under grid lighting. Kind of detracts from the lines, I think?

The older I get, the tougher it is for me to see what I'm doing. Rather that blaming my failing eyesight, my go to response is "there's not enough light in here"

Gotcha. Hope the bees don't see your garage as the mothership. ;)
