Had to go up the Miami River today for an owners event. Looks like hot pink Sunbrella is the popular thing for ghetto charters… I saw probably 20 or 30 of them, usually beat up and dirty sea rays, carvers etc. I doubt Sunbrella sells that stuff elsewhere . These are the PG rated pictures… they re all docked way up river where it s cheap and do the hour long trek before getting in the bay.
I have never seen that on the Columbia River, Puget Sound or even Lake Union for that matter. Not that there is anyting wrong with it. I did have a hot pink spinnaker on a previous boat.
Here in the swamps, we call it shrimp. Real men don't say that pinc word out loud. As a benefit, real men don't wear shrimp up here but it does make for sighting thru a scope easier.
