Attached is a photo of the bottom of my hull from inside the boat. This is right near my port strut. The other side does not have the powder on it. Do I have a problem? I am trying to locate a marine electrician in my area (Wilmington, NC). But it would help if you all could point me in the right direction. Also do I need to take immediate action to prevent damage. Bonding system was redone a couple of years ago in florida. Boat is a 1995 Viking MY. Thanks for you time.

Yep, Poor assembly, lack of attention and maintenance.
Stainless nut on a bronze screw to start.
Take the top nuts off, re-terminate the cables (If the cables are still any good), polish all good and reassemble with proper nuts and washers.

    Thank you very much Ralph.

Moderator I apologize for the photo size. I am struggling with the new apple update and can’t figure it out.

Yes, but I believe that those bolts go through the bottom of the hull and are studs for zincs on the hull bottom around the propeller area of the boat. Both of those studs are leaking saltwater through the bottom of the boat. Pretty sure those studs are S/S and not bronze. Clean them up and dry them really good and come back the next day with a paper towel and wipe around them and see if there's any water.

Thanks Capt J. It is a 1995 54 Viking sport yacht aka motoryacht. I don’t have zincs on the hull bottom only one big one on the transom. I will do as you recommend and follow up.
