I transitioned from the original VF system to Raritan Elegance as well. Great decision. The old log books aboard were full of maintenance notes...
Very nice refresh of a beautiful yacht.
I listened to a summary. I didn't read the report. Summary stated both systems were 440. Makes sense they were 440.
Engine pumps were 480v. They dropped off line when the low voltage buss tripped both breakers....transformer? When the 480v circuits were lost,...
That was where my mind went. When you look at the accidents of the largest vessels, they just amplify the underlying risks involved with any vessel.
I’m no legal expert, but a series of related events could trip the insurance coverage and shift liability upstairs, perhaps even beyond the shell...
She was doing 9 knots, her reported speed at idle She lost steerage until the very end and a port turn was ordered She lost propulsion back about...
Might have gotten one locked down. From what I saw simply said that he didn't get finished locking them both down, saw the impact looming, ran...
Pilot reported that upon boarding he asked for confirmation of vessel condition, and the response was that she was in good order. Something of...

Or just follow the wire and see what it feeds...Ancillary Person Searching.
Whether the results are doctored or not, I haven't spent any time investigating as the RPM and speeds you're showing with your link are similar in...
This test is rather interesting to me...specifically looking at the performance comp at hull speed...Neptunus
I'd wager that considering the cost of the props, the shaft modifications would be a rounding error in the financial calculus.
That's displaying a considerable shaft-length-extension, or it's a very clever hub assembly....
You discriminate against large surveyors? Or just need a little person to get into little places?
I have an APS breaker on my 24v panel. It's the Auto Pilot Solenoid. Activate the hydraulic steering pump, and the pilot steers by solenoid.
Might also check with Marine Liquidators in Ft Pierce.
Didn't the presentation state "same blade area" moving higher quantity of water without the vortices? Am I missing something?
I'm in the cue for the props, but I'm "the other guy". I'm looking at shaving vibration and driving engine efficiency at hull speed. I'll remain...
