I would NOT cross it right now with a 6' draft and a 6.5' navigational depth. I would wait until the lake comes up more and has at least a 7'...
I do this on all of the boats I manage. I run the engines for about 30 minutes. I run them up to 1500 in neutral for a few minutes, to sling oil...
Diesel by far. Much more reliable AND fuel efficient.
For a cockpit cover.....the Sunbrella is way too heavy to deal with.
Just experienced the Weber Q electric. It gets hot and cooks things evenly. BUT, the propane Weber Q is FAR superior. We did baby back ribs,...
I've also seen stinky freshwater (that's been in the water tank a while) do this with them, because the jet action automizes the water and will...
Probably not, but they do make some 2 part epoxy pastes that work fairly well on those tanks. Another option if you can get to the top of it and...
Yup, I ran a 58' searay through there and it would only do 7.4 knots on one engine. But, Manhattan to Oswego is one of my favorite parts of the loop.
What size carver do you have? Have you tried taking the mattress off and seeing if the bed support lifts up?
I've done the entire loop once and half of it two other times.
It's a bad shutdown sender most likely. I.e. Water tump, oil pressure etc. ohm the senders.
I agree..... it's a lot easier and faster with a smaller boat. I had one customer that went from a 55' Neptunus to a 32' whaler on a lift behind...
I still would like to have at least 300' of rope behind the chain. Easy to let all of the chain out and tie the rope off without having to deal...
Yeah, I had one back then that would lock up. Then you'd shut the breaker off to it and it would work for a while and then lock up hours later....
Call Raymarine, but sounds like a typical send $6-800 and the module and we'll rebuild it and ship it back to you! Thank You for choosing Ray Marine!
19 years old???? I would verify the temperature of the freezer, if it's not cold enough it won't make ice, but it's probably the mold assembly.
I would have 100' of chain and 600' of rope if it were me.
Weight does not equal ride. The reason the Magnum rode so well was because of it's very deep V all of the way to the stern.
Then it's in the engine room. The 63 Oceans was fiberglass and looked like part of the boat. Follow the hose that goes to the freshwater pump to...
The tank is not going to be very far from the fill. Follow the fill hose. It will be only a few feet from there. Ocean is not going to run a...
